Applying for the Graduate Certificate in Counselor Education

  Students submit a Certificate Contract Application(see the download links below), a resume identifying educational preparation and work experiences, and official transcripts of all undergraduate and graduate work (if any). The contract includes a statement of career goals, a rationale for completing the certificate program, and a timeline for certificate completion.The deadline for applying to the program is April 1st.

There are two required steps to complete when applying to the GCCE program:

(1) complete the GCCE application and submit that to the Counselor Education department.

(2) beginning from March 16, 2010, applicants should complete the online graduate application: http://www.ncsu.edu/applygrad

  Applications for admissions will be reviewed as they are received. The deadline for applications is April 1st. Students are encouraged to apply early.
